Leidenheimer Lunch Special
December 10, 2019 until December 13, 2019
Robert Whann III
Chairman of G. H. Leidenheimer Baking Company
July 1, 1939 – December 5, 2019
Leidenheimer Baking Co. has been a staple in New Orleans for 123 years, providing the delicious thin-crust French bread that has become synonymous with po-boys. Over the century, Leidenheimer has perfected their method, and their passion for the iconic loaf has defined the New Orleans culinary scene. With your help, Dickie Brennan & Co. would like to start a scholarship fund in honor of Robert Whann III to the New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) to seed the next generation of bakers.
This week we will be run a 2-course "Leidenheimer Lunch Special" where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a scholarship fund to NOCHI's Baking and Pastry Arts program.
Check back for the daily lunch special.
Friday, December 13 Leidenheimer special is:
